Welcome to the website of The Four. We are a string quartet based in Cambridge who give both regular concerts and also play for private weddings, dinners and other functions.
We are all undergraduates/recent graduates with Instrumental Scholarships to Cambridge University. We have most recently played for events at:
- The Danish Club , London
- Mansion House, London
- Plaisterers Hall, 1 London Wall, London
- Various Scholar's Dinners at Cambridge Colleges
- Several May Balls for Cambridge Colleges
Our repertoire is wide and varied: we can provide everything from Haydn to Gershwin, for events from weddings to Highland Balls. If booked more than a few weeks in advance we can learn repertoire by request.
Our fees are approximately £150 per hour, although please don't hesitate to contact us for a quotation. If your event is outside London or Cambridge, travel is not included.
